ARC Review: Highland Defender by Kathryn Le Veque
Highland Defender by Kathryn Le Veque a straightforward and satisfying adventure romance. A pair of earnest and likable young lovers face off against cartoonishly evil antagonists. Le Veque delivers a comfortable Highland romance perfect for an easy afternoon read.
ARC Review: The Pearl by Tiffany Reisz
The Pearl by Tiffany Reisz is delivers deliciously debauched erotic scenes, but falls a bit flat as an overall story. As the third novel in Reisz’s Godwicks series, it is certainly overshadowed by the previous two books. Which, as a fan of the author, is disappointing indeed.
ARC Review: Confessions of a Curious Bookseller by Elizabeth Green
Confessions of a Curious Bookseller by Elizabeth Green grabbed me from page one and didn’t let me go until I read the last page. It’s been a while since a book had me laughing, hard, and out loud. It was a perfect weekend pickup and an unexpectedly delightful read.
