The Book Magic series highlights and celebrates the fun and quirky ways books create community and make us better people. I love getting to know my readers, so be sure to share your Book Magic stories in the comments!
A new challenge dropped on Instagram in the last couple of weeks:
I thought it would be fun, but figured there would be no way I’d have all the books I’d need for my sign. I’m an Aries and I figured finding that i and e would be very tricky. So I moved on, content to admire the work of my creative Bookstagram friends.
I woke up this morning with an entirely different article in mind for today. However, as I sipped my coffee I meandered over to the book shelf and stared. Much to my surprise, I came away with this pretty little Aries book stack:
A * A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
R * Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuinston
I * Imbolc: Rituals, Recipes & Lore for Brigid’s Day by Llewellyn’s Sabbat Essentials
E * Empire of Unreason by J. Gregory Keyes
S * Sandman by Neil Gaiman
The best part about this little stack are the colors. It perfectly captures the fire sign energy I need to start the day.
This Week from The Novel Cauldron
My writing brain has become activated this week, so there will be a slight pause in book reviews until September. Luckily this gives me the opportunity to experiment and explore blogging with a more personal touch. Expect my first WWW challenge, a glimpse of my writing space, an August reading recap, and my September reading goals.
I might even have a fun book challenge in mind for September. So be sure to keep an eye out for that this week.
Happy Monday, friends.
